hey there. i know, i know, this blog is the epitome of zombie. (read:dead but with something lurking beneath that is..not-so-dead). well, no one reads this anymore so i guess i'll post up something which i wouldn't have the guts to, nor did i feel the necessity to put on non-conformist clippers. my other blog. i got a job. well, not really a job. more of a thing. i was in Arkankarya Studios doing a recording for our school's choirs, basic stuff, 90 bucks per hour , two songs. i did the piano accompaniment and the studio engineer that day was Alie. so after getting the CD done up he goes 'hey you free after mid terms?' lifeless little me said yes and he told me to give him a call whenever. then he played this really funky bass line and drum beat on the Mac and told me it was the set of an upcoming and rising indie Malaysian band, they needed a keyboardist so...
yeah. i'm in.
long story short -i went for a day's work already, about three hours straight, just listening and filling in. no big deal 'cept i had to keep this somewhere. and i'm too lazy to jot it down in my journal so mhm. i'll keep the spiders who spun their webs upon this blog updated. it's exciting, something different yknow?
and i enjoy it. Alie's patient and the band's pretty good. it might not be anything huge and goodness knows where the band'll go, with all sorts of talent popping up everywhere.
ah well. que sera sera.
